Passport
Unsurprisingly, the first document that you need for a Norwegian tourist visa is your passport. A passport is needed because it is a legal document that proves your nationality and, more importantly, your identity to the concerned authorities. It also contains important bits of data such as the holder’s full name, date and place of birth, signature, and a recent photograph. Family Tree Form
Before your tourist visa can be accepted, you must fill a family tree form. This form contains questions like your full name, your spouse’s name, and the name of your children. Invitation Letter
The next document on the list of items you need for a Norwegian tourist visa is a special invitation letter. This letter must have three parts from your relative or friend. This invitation is on a special form which should be collected from the Notary Public Norway, Police and U.D.I, attested by the Police or Notary Public Norway. One copy of this has to be faxed directly to the Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad.
Passport Size Photographs
The next thing that you need to get a Norwegian tourist visa on a Pakistani passport are 2 passport size pictures. These pictures should be as recent as possible and must be taken against a white background as this considerably helps the database computers.
Bank Statement
You are also required to submit a bank letter and bank statement of the last six months. Salary slips (if any) of at least the previous 6 months or income tax documents for people with their own businesses must also be attached to the visa application form.
Insurance

Credit Cards

Return Ticket
Obviously you would need an airplane ticket to travel to Norway. However, to be granted a Norwegian tourist visa, you must submit your original flight tickets to Norway so that the authorities are informed of your date of entering and leaving the country.
ID Card
For your Norway tourist visa to be accepted, you must prove your identity and nationality. This can be done by submitting two copies of your NIC. If you plan to travel with your children, you must submit 2 copies of their B forms from NADRA.
Sponsor’s Norway Passport
You are also required to submit a copy of your sponsor’s Norway passport. If your sponsor or host doesn’t have a passport, you can get around this hurdle by submitting a copy of their residence permit. Bear in mind that these documents need to be attested and that the embassy has the right to run an extensive background check on your contact in the country.
Sponsor’s Bank Statement
You will also be required to submit a copy of your sponsor’s bank statement of at least the previous one year. If your host can’t produce a copy of their bank statement, he must get a copy of his tax papers and mail them directly to the embassy.
