What You Can And Can’t Do on UK Student Visit Visa

You will be able to do any short course being offered in the UK on this visa such as English language course or any other training course. You will also be able to do a short period research as a part of your degree if you are studying abroad legally. You will not be able to take admission in any state school on this visa. You will not be allowed to do work or carry out any type of business in the UK. You will also not get any extension in your visa. No family members will be allowed to accompany you or be sponsored by you on this visa. You will also not be able to get any public funds to support your studies in the United Kingdom.

Duration of Stay in the UK on Student Visit Visa

If you have successfully obtained United Kingdom student visitor visa for six months, you will be able to stay for a durationof six months if you are doing a short course in the UK or doing research for short period. If you obtain this visa for 11 months, you will be able to do research as well as take any English language course. You will be able to do all this only if you are 18 years old or above.

• In case you are under 18 years of age, you will have to show that you have made arrangements for travel and stay in the UK
